Fuel Tank Condensation Your Engines Worst Enemy!

Relatively Small Amounts of Water Can Cause Major Problems by promoting the growth of sludge causing bacteria and fungi in fuel tanks. Bacteria and Fungi live in water at the tank bottom and feed on the hydrocarbons in fuel. Remove the tank bottom water and the Bacteria and Fungi will die. Water being heaver than fuel always goes to the tank bottom. Fuel found above the fuel/water interface is usually clean and not contaminated. Fueltec's Mobile Systems have adjustable flow rates so water can be removed in bulk or the smallest droplets can be removed without mixing the sludge with clean fuel.
